A compilation of the synodal constitutions of the province of Canterbury from the time of Stephen Langton to that of Henry Chichele. Note from George Dunn in fly-leaf: "The last two constitutions are not in the printed editions and Lyndewoode's text ends at 'Compellendos' at foot of fo. 145v."

Lyndwood, William, 1375?-1446

Lyndwood took holy orders in 1407 and became an official of the court of Canterbury in 1414. In 1425, he became Dean of the Arches and in 1442 Bishop of St. Davids.
